Livingston County has been my home for my entire life. This is home to my family, my friends, my neighbors, my children and their friends — the farmers, the businesses and the individuals that I have represented in my law firm for many years. No place in the world matters more to me.
I was born and raised here and I graduated from Livonia High School. I watched my grandfather, Vern Graf and my father, Jerry Graf run the family business in downtown Livonia — Graf’s Red & White Meat Market. If I wasn’t working at Callahan’s Restaurant or teaching swim lessons at Camp Stella Maris, I was working as an aide with my mother, who was a Registered Nurse at the Conesus Lake Nursing Home. My summers were happily spent roller skating at Long Point Park or playing a pick-up basketball game with the neighborhood.
My parents taught me and my four siblings to help others, respect everyone, work hard and live honestly. I have aspired to that every day. I have worked diligently to do my best — as a judge, an attorney, a community member, a wife, and a mother.
Now is the right time for me to take my 27 years of legal and judicial experience, combined with my dedication to this community and my broad knowledge of the law, to serve as one of the two next Livingston County Court Judges. My entire life and professional career has prepared me to step forward to seek this office.
As the Livonia Town Judge, I have a unique perspective on what it takes to do the job. As the Town Judge since 2016, I have presided over hundreds of matters that have come before the Court — criminal and civil matters. I make tough decisions in cases of domestic violence, alcoholism and impairment, opioid addiction, animal abuse and criminal activity. And I understand these issues from all sides having practiced in all aspects of the law over which the County Judge presides. I have dedicated my years to representing children in court, providing advice in difficult times and helping families in all aspects of their lives.
Our community needs a County Judge who above all, understands and respects the law — but more than that, understands the importance of family, who values hard work and honesty, who is not afraid to hold
people accountable for their actions in accordance with the law.
I have both the real experience and the right experience for the job. We need a County Judge who cares about our community and who is seeking the job for the right reasons. I am that person. I will be that Judge. And I ask for your support.
